Project Description
We arranged a Reading Force family event at the Broom Farm Community Centre in Windsor, a couple of weeks before the Household Cavalry Regiment were deployed. The founder of Reading Force and Army wife, Dr Alison Baverstock introduced Reading Force to the families, and award-winning author Lee Weatherly did a fun story workshop with the families. It was a great chance for families to ask questions and receive their scrapbooks. Publishers Usborne, Piccadilly Press, and Puffin generously donated books for families attending.
