She meets Faro, a merfolk boy, and he explains many things to her. One day, her father goes missing, and is never seen again. The adventurous girl must calm the power of the sea, also known as Ingo by the merfolk, to rescue her Dad. A series of strange occurrences lead to Sapphire staying in the sea for longer each day, until one thing she sees pulls her over the edge.
